Summary: Sometimes, it feels like the spirit of war corrupts otherwise intelligent men into bloodthirsty loons out to try out their new destructive toys. In this case, who knows what would have happened if things went more according to the plan of a guy who liked robots a bit too much?

History: General Dix has always wanted a world where the war never ended. And now, he has the means of doing so. He's managed to get his hands on Mechwood, a fairly isolated patch of land where large robots do most of the heavy lifting. Now, he controls them all, and is planning on testing them on some hapless folk who have been dropped there with no recollection as to why. It will take everything they've got to survive the metal onslaught.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: Through some good hacking, the survivors manage to control most of the robots into firing upon Dix's ace in the hole, a massive mech that can both take and dish out tons of damage. However, they then settle it all by gaining control of the big bot, having it obliterate both Dix, itself, and all of Mechwood. That said, at least one of the smaller robots is shown to have survived, though with no directives to speak of.

Powers/Abilities: Almost all of the robots are equipped with major weaponry, including machine guns, flamethrowers, and death rays.

Weakness: They can be hacked into, and heavy artillery can bring them down.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-Sadly, the CGI of those bots lets them down. Not helping is that the giant robot looks a little TOO similar to the Vanguard unit from the "Titanfall" series. Still, you can't totally deny all of that firepower and the numbers they have on their side. They could have ended all wars, but who the Hell says that Dix wouldn't have STARTED more?

Trivia: -This film has the honor of being shot in a literal ghost town known as Maud, Oklahoma. This deserted place's only known claim to fame is that it was the birthplace of famed Rockabilly star Wanda Jean Jackson.
